AFTA

ASEAN Free Trade Area (AFTA) merupakan wujud kesepakatan dari negara-negara ASEAN untuk membentuk suatu kawasan bebas perdagangan dalam rangka meningkatkan daya saing ekonomi kawasan regional ASEAN.

AFTA berdiri pada tahun 1992 di Singapura pada saat Konfrensi Tingkat Tinggi (KTT), dengan negara anggotanya  Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Filipina, Singapura dan Thailand. Vietnam bergabung pada 1995, Laos dan Myanmar pada 1997 dan Kamboja pada 1999.

Tujuan dari AFTA adalah:

• Meningkatkan daya saing ASEAN sebagai basis produksi dalam pasar dunia melalui penghapusan bea dan halangan non-bea dalam ASEAN
• Menarik investasi asing langsung ke ASEAN

Terbentuknya AFTA memberikan dampak kepada Indonesia yaitu meningkatnya daya saing. Dengan meningkatkan daya saing, pengusaha Indonesia tidak saja dapat selamat, tetapi juga akan berkembang pesat di pasar yang lebih besar. AFTA juga mempermudah ekspor-impor antar negara ASEAN.

Fakta Persamaan Kuadrat

Persamaan kuadrat adalah suatu persamaan yang berpangkat dua dan dapat difaktorkan.

ax²+ bx + c =0

dengan

a tidak sama dengan 0 (ingat!)

Huruf-huruf a, b dan c disebut sebagai koefisien: koefisien kuadrat a adalah koefisien dari x kuadrat , koefisien linier b adalah koefisien dari x, dan c adalah koefisien konstan (tidak mengandung variable atau x=1).

Kegunaan:

Untuk menentukan nilai maksimum suatu produksi atau nilai. Sebagai contoh suatu pabrik memenuhi suatu fungsi kuadrat. kapan pabrik itu mencapai maksimum, dsb

Contoh Soal:
Selisih dua bilangan positif adalah 5 dan jumlah dari kebalikan angka-angkanya adalah 3/10. tentukan bilangan bilangan itu.

Jawab:
x - y = 5         x = 5 + y
1/x + 1/y = 3/10  

1/5+y  +  1/y = 3/10
y+5+y/5y+y ²= 3/10
2y+5/5y+y² = 3/10
15y + 3y² = 20y + 50
15y +  3y² - 20y - 50 = 0
3y² - 5y - 50 = 0
(3y + 10)(y - 5) = 0

3y + 10 = 0                
3y = -10
y = -10/3

y - 5 = 0
y = 5

x = 5 + y
x = 5 + 5
x = 10

Rhythmic Activities

Rhythm is a consistent beat pattern. In order to know about it better we were told to dance "Oppa Gangnam Style-PSY". I was grouped with Gloria, Ruth, and Vivy. We were judged based on the tempo and execution (how fit the footwork and the hand movements while we are dancing). It's an exciting activities and important because it helps me to know the rhythm and tempo of a song which helps me in playing music and pieces using musical instruments because I play the violin and piano. Knowing the rhythm give me an illusion how fast the song must be played and how will the notes be played.

Art

We were told by Mr. Ampri to make a figure that used cubes. And we were told to paint it with light and dark technique. It is a technique to blend light colour with dark colour so that it would blend nicely and create a gradient of colours. And this is what I've got:

I got 95 and I'm quite satisfied but it has no variation of colours (like my teachers had said) and the pencil line are still visible. That's why I need to improve too.

Music

On Music class we were told to present about genre of music such as rock, rock n roll, disco, new wave, rap and etc. We present it simultaneously for 4 weeks.I have learned that each genre has approximately 10 years of popularity. And each genre has some special characteristics to which differentiate them with other genre of music. Their backgrounds of how it is born are also different. This activity makes me more confident   in presenting and answer the questions. This activity also makes me develop my curiosity. It's fun and interesting. Especially when there's a speaker icon on the slide hehehe.
